e-TALENTA is committed to a fair and transparent casting process in order to ensure equal opportunities for all actresses and actors.
A membership is therefore not possible if other activities create a conflict of interest that prevents a transparent casting process. This is particularly the case if talent agency and casting activities are carried out by the same person or organisation and independent casting activities are not guaranteed due to commission-based remuneration models.
Since June 2024, our platform has been run without a commercial business model. We work on a non-profit basis. With the membership fees, we run the platform to cover costs and any surpluses are used for the benefit of equal opportunities, transparency and visibility for actresses and actors.
Running a multilingual, professional platform for Europe naturally generates costs: storage space for photos and videos, server infrastructure to enable a reliable online presence and a team that takes care of operations, member support and further development. Our primary goal is to keep the costs for actresses and actors as low as possible. We concentrate on the essentials and do without, for example, expensive marketing campaigns.
That’s why, in addition to a free basic profile, we offer a supporting membership that provides actresses and actors with everything they need for their professional online presence: a full profile on the platform and all the tools they need to proactively make themselves visible. Every supporting member also helps to keep the costs low for themselves and everyone else.
