With e‑TALENTA, you have an overview of the current status of all your projects. With just one look, you can see what still needs to be done and which people are part of the project. You can archive finished projects and access them any time to look back at early casting ideas. You can also keep everything in order within a project on e‑TALENTA. Each role doesn’t just have a list of all the candidates that were in consideration at some point. The reality is that the casting process goes through several phases – also known as rounds.
So, for example, after the first search, there can be more rounds, i.e. for studio castings or different feedback rounds with your team. After every round, the number of candidates decreases – until you have found your cast. With e‑TALENTA, you can map out your casting process and simply move certain candidates into the “next round”.
You can write notes about every candidate, either visible only to you or to your entire team. You can also mark the candidates with flags and colours. Furthermore, you can send the candidates messages, as well as request videos or their unavailable dates.
e‑TALENTA offers you many possibilities on how to organise your projects and is very flexible. Set everything up according to your work flow.
Create your individual casting in just a few steps.
You have three options here. Your casting can be public, protected or closed. Public castings mean that every actor and actress on e‑TALENTA, whose profile fits one or more role descriptions, will receive the casting with all the information you have included.
Protected castings work the same way as public castings, except that the names of the director, production company and casting director are kept hidden.
The third option you have is to do a closed casting. Once you have filled in all the necessary details, you will be given a link to the casting, which you can send to your own selection of actors, actresses and agents – e.g. via email. The recipients do not need to be members of e‑TALENTA. Even without a profile, they will be able to submit themselves with all the necessary information, as well as self-tapes and documents.
Our search tool offers you the possibility of doing a quick or a very detailed search among the over 70.000 professional actors and actresses in Europe.
Over 40 search criteria are available to you. From searching for a name, ability, place of residence and physical characteristics to searching according to your own notes. You can even do a photo similarity search: Casting directors, producers and directors can upload a photo (e.g. of a historical person) and receive a list of actors or actresses that look similar to the person in the photo.
Online video meetings are now tailor-made for castings.
Along with the classic online castings with self-tapes or a search tool, e-TALENTA also offers you a virtual casting studio in which you and your team can interact with the candidates live. The Virtual Casting Studio is much better suited to the casting situation than classic online meeting tools.
You decide which participant sees what. For example, you can decide that an actor only sees his scene partner and vice versa. The director and casting team can, for example, see both actors interchangeably or just one of them.
You can create finished audition videos with the filmed takes from the casting with just a few clicks.
With e‑TALENTA, you have your entire casting correspondence in one place. Aside from having the possibility to contact actors, actresses and agents directly, the platform offers you more helpful tools for efficient communication.
For example, you can create text templates and recipient lists for invitations and cancellations or systematically request fee information and availability. Instead of a flood of emails and memos, you have everything on one platform.
With e‑TALENTA, you can create individual presentations to share your suggestions with the other people involved in the casting process (for example: the director, producer or showrunner).
You can decide exactly what your presentation should look like and which information should be included. Create your own presentation templates with just a few clicks. You can later use them again whenever necessary.
You can create online presentations for certain people, set up limited access for a limited time and even receive online feedback on your suggestions.

Regardless of whether it’s online or in print: you can create overviews, lists and presentations with just a few clicks and you decide what should be visible to whom and who else has access to it.
This way, you also have the option of receiving quick feedback from your team and can make a decision together.
With e‑TALENTA PREMIUM, you have access to the Cloud feature. You can combine the advantages of an established platform with the features of a personal archive. For example, you can upload your own photos and audition videos directly onto pre-existing actor profiles. Alternatively, you can also create your own actor profiles – all this is visible only to you and your team and stored safely on European platforms.
e‑TALENTA offers you a series of tools made to support you during the organisation of live auditions in the studio.
With the Casting Time-Planner, you can, for example, create a schedule for your studio auditions and invite actors. They will be able to see the available appointment slots immediately and book themselves in. You always have an overview and the option of changing appointments manually.

You can upload the audition takes you did in the studio directly and link them to the profiles of the actors and your project on e‑TALENTA. This way, all the material is safely and permanently archived. You can access it any time and even create presentations from the material.

All membership fees are covered by our non-profit promise and are used exclusively for the running of the platform and our non-profit objectives.

Guideline for transparency and equal opportunities in casting:
e-TALENTA is committed to a fair and transparent casting process in order to ensure equal opportunities for all actresses and actors.
A membership is therefore not possible if other activities create a conflict of interest that prevents a transparent casting process. This is particularly the case if talent agency and casting activities are carried out by the same person or organisation and independent casting activities are not guaranteed due to commission-based remuneration models.
Free of charge for students and graduates
e‑TALENTA supports young filmmakers. For students of a recognised film school, we offer the casting-PREMIUM package free of charge for 2 years.
